Natural Exposures was created to provide a reliable and professional distribution outlet for the natural history and travel photography of Daniel J. Cox. Natural Exposures strives to assist our customers with personal, high quality service in obtaining the most dynamic image possible to convey their message. Through these photos Natural Exposures hopes to educate the public, create enthusiasm for and promote conservation of our natural world.
Daniel’s 25 year career has contributed to his professionalism in productive assignment photography. His photography has captured the eye of a wide range of clients from around the world. Commercial, advertising, editorial, travel and architectural assignment work can be arranged through his office staff at Natural Exposures.
Fees
Each assignment is different so each contract will be negotiated based on a day rate plus expense basis. Usage and rights of the images will also be written into an agreement prior to shooting.
All shoots are photographed digitally with professional grade equipment in Raw Mode. Post production fees will vary depending on what the client requires as a final product. This fee includes file transfer, editing, color balancing, web gallery posting and CD/DVD burning and is charged on an hourly basis. This will be invoiced at time of delivery of the files.
Expenses

Travel & transportation (air, ship, rail, taxi fares, air charter, car rental, fuel or mileage, airport parking, overweight luggage or shipping of equipment) meals & lodging and extra location expenses (telephone calls, equipment/prop rental, modeling fees, assisting fees, location costs & scouting).

Natural Exposures takes pride in personal service. Many of the extras associated with obtaining an image are provided at no charge.
Need help finding images?
Our staff will create a custom on-line gallery of images for your review free of charge. We have thousands of images online but we have many more thousands of images that might not be included. Just give us a call or email your request and we’ll search our 350,000 images for just the right photograph to meet your needs. We’ll then upload them to a custom web page for your review.
Need a high resolution scan?
We supply superior quality, industry standard, drum scans for our film images and the highest quality digital files from our digitally captured photographs. All of this free of charge.
Need the image fast?
We will send the digital file of the image you’ve requested via our high speed internet delivery service also free of charge. This system allows you to download a 50+mb file in less than a minute with absolutely no loss of quality! No FedEx charges and no liability for original transparencies! Our fulfillment of your request is typically the same day of your request.

Each year Natural Exposures Inc. opens its door to enthusiastic, motivated students interested in learning the stock photography business. These internships offer a chance for hands-on learning opportunities channeled through the accredited Montana State University internship program. By working in a real world environment you will learn the fundamentals of how to market and sell photography in this changing industry. This office-based* program is open to a select few individuals annually, many of which return for second and third year terms. Our working environment is friendly and personable; we strive to create flexible scheduling of work hours based on each students needs.
If you wish to intern, not for credits, but for job experience, we require a 3 month commitment with no less than 15 hours a week.
