Biography of BJ Kirschhoffer
My name is BJ Kirschhoffer and I have been working at Natural Exposures for 3 years. I also attend school at Montana State University here in Bozeman where I am working on a photography degree. When I’m not in school or at work I enjoy spending my time on skis or backpacking in the mountains near Bozeman.
I am currently working on my senior thesis for my photo degree. For my project I am making negatives digitally and printing them with the Salted paper print process. Salted paper prints were the first negative to positive process from the mid 1800’s.
Last year I had the great opportunity to shoot in 15 of Europe’s Countries while concentrating most of my time in Italy. The trip gave me a better sense of the world and lots of experience shooting in natural light. Not to forget I ate some of the best food on this planet. I leave for 4 months to China the Fall of 2006 for another exciting adventure.
