We will travel through the Bow Valley Provincial Park. The autumn season is not to be missed...this is the magical time when the larches and aspens turn from green to gold in late September. The scenery is unbelievable with rugged mountains and lakes as far as the eye can see!

Delta Lodge at Kananaskis. After check in we will have an early dinner and head out for an evening shoot*.(D)
September 30
Awake early for a morning scenic sunrise shoot*. We will photograph until mid morning then return to the Lodge for breakfast and to check out. We will head out and work the roads with many photography stops. At this time of year, the Grizzly are gorging on buffalo berries, the Elk are bugling and rutting. The scenery is incredible throughout this trip. Even though we can not guarantee wildlife viewing there are possibilities to see big horn sheep, moose, elk, black bear, grizzly bear, coyote, deer, beavers and mountain goats. Don’t forget your binoculars...starting late September you may be able to catch a glimpse of the Golden Eagles that ride the rocky mountain updrafts in Kananaskis Country during their annual migration.
We will stop in the town of Canmore for a mid day break and lunch and then continue down the road into Banff National Park. Tonight we will stay at the
Fox Hotel and Suites in town of Banff. Don’t forget your swim suit, this hotel has a special

Depending on time, we will check in at our evening retreat nestled in the heart of Jasper National Park in the awe-inspiring Catacomb Mountains before returning out for an evening shoot. The accommodations are simple and comfortable. We picked this location for some great morning opportunities for easy hikes for a morning shoot right from the resort.
