Day 1 You’ll start this wildlife photography adventure with a flight to Bozeman, Montana, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred by shuttle to the town of West Yellowstone—an scenic and beautiful three-hour drive. Keep your eyes on the look out for bighorn sheep, wolves and moose that are often seen along this drive. After we check into our hotel, we will meet with fellow travelers in Daniel's room for a briefing. We will go over his tips and suggestions while shooting in Yellowstone. Dinner and drinks will follow...

Day 2-5 Today we’ll spend a full day in Yellowstone National Park traveling in guided, luxury chartered snow coaches. Each day we’ll travel to different locations in the Park including Fire Hole, Fountain Flats, Norris Geyser, Old Faithful, Midway and Lower Geyser Basin, Biscuit Basin and Obsidian Cliffs.

Along the snowy trails, we’ll stop to photograph the beautiful landscapes created by the steamy geysers and mountain vistas along with the variety of wildlife, including the majestic elk and mammoth bison. These creatures—big and small—find warmth near many of the thermal areas, and the effects create unique and stunning imagery. Daniel will be available at all times to answer your questions and give suggestions on how to improve your photography skills.

Evenings are free to explore the town of West Yellowstone or visit the Yellowstone Imax Theatre (ticket included), or take advantage of time with Daniel to review your portfolios and discuss your image workflow process. Daniel will also conduct a few short presentations of his most recent work.

Day 6 You’ll return early in the morning to Bozeman by shuttle. Please schedule your return flights no earlier than noon.

Day 6 Optional Snowmobile Day TRIP 1 ONLY

Depart West Yellowstone by snowmobile for a day trip with an experienced guide. Explore the beautiful snowy landscapes and vistas along groomed trails in the Targhee National Forest including the Mount Two Top trail. This is an excellent choice whether you are a novice or experienced snow machine rider. Targhee offers much less confined trail systems than those found in Yellowstone National Park. On a clear day you might be treated to the Grand Teton and a panoramic view of the entire region.

Upon returning to West Yellowstone, we’ll continue to Bozeman by shuttle and stay the evening in Bozeman at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Day 7 Depart Bozeman at your leisure
Arrange airport transfers with your hotel at no charge.

"First, I want to repeat again how special the Yellowstone trip was. It was a picture perfect trip (pun intended) and in my mind will be a trip of a lifetime. A big thanks to you and Dan for putting on such a wonderful experience. Yellowstone in winter was unexpectedly the most beautiful place I have ever witnessed. To steal a line from Sue, you, Dan, Art and Sue really feel like family now. The four of you couldn’t be nicer to be with and travel with."
