New gallery from 2010 to come! Great year for wolf viewing!

Day 1 (Jan 28) You’ll start this wildlife photography adventure with a flight to Bozeman, Montana, where you’ll be met at the airport and transferred by shuttle to the town of West Yellowstone—a scenic and beautiful three hour drive. (Note:Please arrive in Bozeman before noon on this day or arrive one day earlier - we can make hotel arrangements in Bozeman for you.) Keep your eyes on the lookout for bighorn sheep, wolves and moose that are often seen along this drive. After we check into our hotel, a wine and cheese gathering will follow. Daniel will show some of his work and go over his tips and suggestions while shooting in Yellowstone. A group "welcome" dinner will follow...

Day 2-5 Today we’ll spend a full day in Yellowstone National Park traveling in guided, luxury chartered snow coaches. Each day we’ll travel to different locations in the Park including Fire Hole, Fountain Flats, Norris Geyser, Old Faithful, Midway and Lower Geyser Basin, Biscuit Basin and Obsidian Cliffs. We will depart daily at 7:30am and tour until 6-6:30pm for optimum light. Our snow "yacht" seats 32 guests however since we limit our guests to 14 every guest will have 2 seats each on the snow coach for camera gear and comfort during traveling. All photography will be done outside the snowcoach from the road or on walking trails.

Along the snowy trails, we’ll stop to photograph the beautiful landscapes created by the steamy geysers and mountain vistas along with the variety of wildlife, including the majestic elk mammoth bison, coyotes, swans and bald eagles. 2010 was a great year for wolf viewing and hope to have similar opportunities again in 2011. These creatures—big and small—find warmth near many of the thermal areas, and the effects create unique and stunning imagery. Daniel will be available at all times to answer your questions and give suggestions on how to improve your photography skills in the field. We believe the best way to learn is not only in a classroom but importantly one on one on a personal level with Daniel.

Custom box lunches, snacks and hot beverages are included daily while touring.

Evenings are free to explore the town of West Yellowstone, visit the Yellowstone Imax Theatre or take advantage of time with Daniel to review your portfolios. We prefer to give each guest some time off to enjoy their surrounding on their own, organize their day shoots or simply rest. The days are long in the field with lots of fresh air... it is good to have some personal downtime to enjoy your trip, this is your vacation!

Jan 30 - Daniel will have one evening (optional) class to discuss image workflow using Lightroom following a Q & A session.

Our last evening will include a farewell casual gathering over beverages of choice, appetizers and pizza. Daniel will show some of his most recent work and the evening is open to guests to show their images to the group from this trip.

Day 6 (Feb 2) You’ll return early in the morning to Bozeman by shuttle before 11:00am. Please schedule your return flights no earlier than noon.
