The images are rated from 1-5 Stars. 1 Star is the worst, completely out of focus and 5 Star is the absolute best, perfectly in focus.
You will notice that there are a few images where the athlete is completely out of the frame. This is due to the image lag within the viewfinder where I would loose the person due to images filling the buffer and blocking up the viewfinder. At six FPS this would happen towards the end of the burst. I would then just keep shooting, trying to predict where the person was going to be. This actually worked better with the people/track athletes since they ran in a straight line and were not nearly as fast as even my slowest dog subject. The Predictive AF was actually extremely accurate. You will notice lots of 5 Stars. There seems to be no issue with the AF technology, it's the EVF that is the problem. It just can't clear the images fast enough to be able to visually track the subject. I have no idea why this would be an issue. Seems a perfect situation for a streaming video signal. Keep in mind, this was a problem even though I had all EVF review controls set to off. In other words, even when the Review Image was off, a burst of six FPS would show up in the viewfinder as if it were a single image and stay in the EVF until it cleared to the buffer. Effectively blacking the viewfinder out. I predict if they fix this issue, the camera might be as good as a Nikon D4 and possibly better. Notice how many 5 stars there are. It's predictive AF capabilities are as good or better than anything I've shot if I can see the subject to keep the AF sensor on target. it's impressive on one hand and totally bush league on the other.
